As permitted by the Texas Public Information Act, in lieu of requiring each member of the governing body to complete training required by the Act, a government agency may designate someone as the Public Information Coordinator to be responsible for compliance.
Austin City Manager Spencer Cronk designated the City of Austin’s Law Department as the City’s Public Information Coordinator to fulfill those duties. The Law Department’s Public Information Manager, Kelechukwu Anyanwu Jr., completed this training January 7, 2021.
