Leslie Pool, who has served as a council member since January 2015, filed one voluntary pay waiver to accept a reduced salary, per Ordinance No. 20150212-017. The amount of salary waived—plus the city’s portion of employment taxes applicable to the waived salary—could be used by the council member for the municipal purpose of operating her council office, including staff salaries.
Additional information obtained through a public information request indicates that as a result of Pool’s salary decision, her council office received an additional $2,998 for operational expenses.
