Local Government Code Section 176.003(a) requires a local government officer to file a conflicts disclosure statement with respect to a vendor if the vendor enters or is considering entering a contract with the local government entity and the vendor has an employment or other business relationship with the officer or a family member of the officer, has given the officer or family member a gift valued at more than $100 in a 12-month period, or has a family relationship with the officer.
The Austin Bulldog filed a public information request April 16, 2023, with the Travis Central Appraisal District to obtain copies of any Conflicts of Interest Disclosures filed by any member of the Travis Central Appraisal District’s Board of Directors since January 1, 2018.
The April 17, 2023, response stated, “The Travis Central Appraisal District has reviewed its files and has determined there are no responsive documents to your request.”
