Central Health Board of Managers Member Shannon Jones filed these Forms CIS to report that in 2022 he had a conflict with the City of Austin because he was serving as an interim assistant city manager and had a conflict with the University of Texas School of Nursing where he was providing consultation. Jones listed no vendors in his disclosures for 2019 and 2021.
Most local governmental organizations require Forms CIS to be filed only when a conflict of interest becomes apparent. Central Health, however, through its Standard Operating Procedure “Duality and Conflict of Interest Procedure” requires members of its Board of Managers to file these on the 20th business day after taking office and at each year’s annual board meeting.
Therefore it appears that a form may be left blank if the manager has no conflict with respect to a vendor.
