As permitted by the Texas Public Information Act, in lieu of requiring each member of the governing body to complete training required by the Act, the governing body may designate someone as the Public Information Coordinator to be responsible for compliance.
Or the members of the governing body may each personally designate someone as the Public Information Coordinator and be responsible on their behalf. Each member of the Travis Central Appraisal District’s Board of Directors has done this, with the exception of Tom Buckle, who personally participated in the required training.
Trisha Dangerfield-Bell, the designated Public Information Coordinator for all but one member of the Board of Directors, completed this training June 21, 2016.
