The TCTA is located within the Downtown Austin Public Improvement District and as such is subject to an additional property tax assessment of 10 cents per $100 property valuation. The revenue from such assessments is collected by the City of Austn and is the source of 99 percent of the income used to run the programs of the Downtown Austin Alliance.
