Lee Leffingwell’s Military Service Records

Mayor Lee Leffingwell’s military service records were obtained from the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, Missouri, through an open records request. The records show that Leffingwell served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from October 13, 1963, to May 1, 1982, and retired as a commander. His career as a naval aviator included wartime service in the Republic of Viet Nam Campaign.
