Austin City Manager Marc Ott was interviewed for this article in the winter issue of Public Sector Digest, an international publication focusoing on in-depth analysis of government-related issues. Ott made a number of claims in the article for his accomplishments as city manager and stated his “intent to have Austin known as the best managed city in the country. ... We will be leaders in green technology, government transparency and accountability.”
