Steve Bickerstaff Letter and Proposed Ordinance

The attached three-page file contains a cover letter that attorney Steve Bickerstaff wrote to advise the Austin City Council about actions needed to implement the 10-1 system of council elections approved by voters November 6. The last two pages are a proposed ordinance for implementing the transition to single-member districts, even-year November elections, and staggered four-year terms, as required by Proposition 2 (also approved by voters November 6, 2012).
